My little piece of Paradise

I've been a scrapbooker for many years and card making seemed like the next logical step:)

Crafty Catz - Anything Goes

Good Morning to all you fabulous crafters :)
It hasn't been a very busy week for me thank god! but I tell ya, I'm ready for this snow to melt and for the warmer weather to show up.  My truck is always frozen up and there's about 6ft of snow out there.... just enough to make it difficult to BBQ lol... I'm sooooo ready for warmth!! lol

Well this week at Crafty Catz, the theme is "ANYTHING GOES"! How awesome is that?!

This weeks card is an image by Paper Nest Dolls!
I just love these images, they are easy and fun to colour :)
I did a Birthday card as it's SOMEONE'S birthday this weekend. so go wish Kerri a Happy Birthday over at her blog :) 
I used my Prisma Pencils and my trusty Silhouette, glamour dusted her cupcake sprinkles and made my very first Chalkboard greeting complete with white chalk rubbed on... Yay Me! lol
Now I don't know what possessed me to use this colour combination but i'm sooooo happy with the way it turned out. Who knew that Olive, Turquoise and Black would match so well?! lol
